Attack of Appendicitis

Turns out that the first Elder in our mission to have an attack of appendicitis is related to me in a way.  My cousin, Bion's wife Judy's grandson is Elder Thornton.  We were alerted by Sr. Fluckiger that Elder Thornton had become ill and was going to the hospital and she asked us to go to Coimbra Hospital to see how he was doing because we are closer to him than she was and she couldn't get there in time.  As it was we got there after the surgery.  The zone leaders and his companion had taken good care of him.  The doctors did a great job and he was in and out in a couple of days.
